I'm sure none of you are strangers to the Duggar family. I am always so encouraged when I read or see them on TV. Here I think the days can be tough with 3 children, and they manage and look so radiant. It really is amazing and I think they can be such a testimony to the world- to show what a blessing children really can be! I watched the video from the Today Show and was blessed. Amazing that they're having another baby! Where I'm originally from there are many families that have 12+ children. Growing up I thought it was the strangest thing, but now I see how blessed they are! I'd rather have my home full of children than gold and riches!

I'm sure you have heard it before, but three children is the hardest number to have! I'm sure that is why so many families stop there, they assume it will keep getting harder.
Having many children makes it easier and easier.
I have five and found it gets easier the more you have. I really admire the Duggar family too.
I love the Duggars. I don't think I could have that many children (I seriously still dislike being pregnant I just can't get over it), but its great to see a family proving it can be done. They are a great testimony.
Lets just hope you stop well before that! Mom
They're pregnant again? I think last I had saw they were at 16. I dunno how people do that. That's just crazy to me.
You post so often, I have a hard time keeping up with your blog!
I love watching the Duggar specials, but I can honestly say I don't envy that amount of children.
...you would NEED gold and riches to take care of a family that big! LOL Bob and I always watch their shows, amazed at the patients that these parents must have in order to take care of so many children! I really respect them.
I love the Dugger's!
Anytime I feel overwhelmed with parenting and HS'ing I watch them and I feel encouraged!
Great Post!

I LOVED watching them on the Today show. . my favorite thing was that Meredith seemed to really admire them too!

I've never heard of them actually.
One of the blessings of family is they're there for you in good times and bad...at my Grandma H's funeral I remember the minister relating his memories of her and how nothing was so important to her as having her family around her. Having "things" in this life were of no importance...she didn't lay up treasures on earth but rather treasured each of us who made up her family...and I always felt that. What a wonderful thing to be remembered for.
We've never even considered "choosing" how many children we have....that is in God's most capable hands...but I hope it's quite a few more!
