We went to a Pumpkin Patch today. We were supposed to meet some friends there but they didn't go because we were supposed to get rain. I decided that we'd still try to go in the morning since it wasn't supposed to rain until after noon. The weather was beautiful, though it was overcast. And we beat the rain! We were hoping for a hayride but maybe we can find one somewhere else. At least we were able to get some pumpkins- 6 of them for the 6 of us in our family! Here are the children, home from our morning of fun, with the pumpkins. The best thing was that this place was free- we only had to pay for the pumpkins and that only came to $8! And we seemed to be there at a perfect time...one group was just leaving when we got there and another had just come as we were leaving. Couldn't have asked for a more perfect time!

Sounds like fun, and what a great deal! I bought one pumpkin here for $5!!!
We're doing that on Friday with our homeschool group. The boys are so excited!
