What's Up

For starters I want to ask you all to pray for Zach's cousin, Christian. His car got stuck in a ditch and he nearly froze to death. He was sent to the University of Michigan where he will receive the best treatment he can. He is in excruciating pain, as I'm sure you can imagine. Please pray for the family as well.

Secondly, where's the LOVE???? I had only 3 comments on my last post! Come on now stalkers...tell me you're here! I know people read my blog and I like to see comments from y'all.

I have been using this cookbook that we got Princess for Christmas.

I LOVE the recipes in it! They taste great and they're so easy (I made the BEST chicken burritos and enchiladas from it)! Princess has been helping a bit too and I enjoy that.

We went to see Alvin & the Chipmunks this weekend for a birthday party. Zach wasn't impressed, but I grew up loving that cartoon and I thought it was pretty funny. I think I had more fun watching Cuddly Boy's face as he'd laugh at different parts though. He certainly enjoyed it! He is so much like Theodore!

I did pretty great with my Pampered Chef show. I still haven't figured out what I'd like for free though! Decisions, decisions.

Off to have a movie night! PLEASE show me some LOVE and comment;))

Just showing some love!

I haven't seen Alvin and the Chipmunks yet. I'm waiting for it to get to the dollar theater. I also enjoyed that cartoon as a kid.

Oh, and I enjoyed looking at those historic photos from an earlier post you made!

I wish I could have gone to the Pampered Chef party. I love their stuff and I have a few things I'd really like.

The cloth diapers - we use plain prefold diapers with covers. We use disposable at night and if we're out and about, though. I just ordered one type of diaper called bum genius that's more similar in style to a disposable. You can look it up and find a much better description than I could give since I only got the thing in today and have to wash it before I can use it. The neat thing about the Bum Genius is that it's supposed to fit a child all the way from 7-30 lbs. It has snaps to make it smaller. I'm interested in seeing how this thing works...

It looks like it's going to be cold this Thursday, so you might be doing something other than the park? Let me know so we can meet up I can give you the TV!

Huh, that's funny about Cuddly Boy being like Theodore. As soon as I saw the preview I knew that Ali and Alvin had the same personality. I haven't seen it yet but the rest of the family has.

Isn't it terrible about Christian?

Looks like a cute cookbook. Now you can tell Princess to make some dinner!

We will wait until Alvin and the Chipmunks come out on DVD.

I wanted to take my kids to see the chipmunks but still haven't found time. I heard from everyone that the kids will love it. Glad to see you liked it too. :)

Jozie has been cooking with me a bit lately and it's fun to see her feel so "grown up" - she loves for her LITTLE brother to see her doing things like that!

I think my favorite part of family movie night is to see Luke's response to the funny stuff...if it's a serious movie he doesn't care much for it but he LOVES those goofy funny movies (I think his favorites are the first 2 Home Alone movies) - watching him watch the movie is ALWAYS the best part! LOL :) He would probably have a blast watching movies with your boys - too bad we live at almost opposite ends of the country!
