break time

Yesterday I vowed not to get on the computer at all. I did get on my iPod to check email and email a lady, letting her know I wouldn't be at the park. I have to admit I didn't even miss the computer! I got so much more done! Got a menu planned, a grocery list made, had a playdate, visited with the neighbors in the evening, and even read part of my book. I find that facebook takes up so much of my time that I've lost interest in reading. So, today I'm going to try to stay away from this machine as well. It becomes so addicting. You come on to do one thing and two hours later walk away. And what have you gained from it? A bunch of useless information, probably.

The other day I noticed somebody's facebook post being something about 'people need to get over thinking being gay is a lifestyle choice'. That was the day after I'd posted about not being happy about Ellen being the new American Idol judge. Some people are so lost...it is honestly so sad.

This morning/afternoon I get to go out with the Air Force wives. I'm hoping to leave Sweet Pea at home and get some time completely by myself but we shall see how that goes.

Oh, Kim, my phone is a LG env3. I LOVE it!

Ok, my computer time is up so off I go to be more productive!

I have the same problem with the computer! I TRY to just come online to do something quick, and I get sidetracked. I am not big into the Facebook craze. I am trying to learn as I go but I am not on it enough to keep up with eveyone's posts, and if I did take the time to do it I would never get anything else done. Technology to me is a double edged sword, lol.

Hope you enjoy your time out with the "girls":)

Good on you for monitoring yourself:)
It is so easy to get sidetracked and waste allot of time. I am already trying to teach my kids about being good stewards with things like this. The word always comes to mind and we have to be good stewards of time, talent and money:)

I waste so much time on here too. Usually while Jess is working though because I get so bored. BUt I know what you mean, It's nothing to be on here an hour or so and they realize that time went fast. Nice phone. It is really disturbing what the world has came to, gays and all that. We went to a park a couple weeks ago and saw two teen age girls being all lovey and holding hands like it was no big deal. I remember growing up never even hearing anything about being gay and now society makes it be just a normal thing. Very Sad!
