The Itsy Bitsy Spider

This is what was on our front porch today. I have not taken my own picture yet because it is still alive and I'm afraid of it;) Isn't it amazing how these come in so many different shapes, colors, sizes, etc. Of course, being the nerd that I've become I had to look up what type it was!
Three-spotted Jumping Spider(Phidippus audax)
Description: Excellent hunters thanks to a combination of great eyesight and spectacular leaping ability. A pair of prominent eyes in the centre of the head. Will enter houses to hunt flies at windows.

Yuck!!!!!! I am deathly afraid of spiders they are soooo ugly! I can't even look at your picture! I still remember a particular spider in our doorway about 8 yrs ago it had blue eyes in the center of its head it kinda looked like that one.

Ewww, ewww, ewww!!!! Oh heck no!! Get some bleach in a bottle and spray the crap out of it! That's what I'd do. I can't imagine anything could live getting straight bleach sprayed on it!!! I'd do anything I could to kill that mother hummer!!!

Good luck w/ that pooch :)

Eeek! One good thing about living up north, we don't see many strange creatures as far as bugs are concerned! I HATE BUGS!

Oh YUCK!! I don't care for spiders or other creatures like them, but I can usually handle them. This guy on the other hand is just gross. I know God made him, but look at those pinchers on the front of him. Those are pinchers are they?
