potty in the night

So I've been staying up super late lately. Mostly because by the time my kids actually fall asleep I just need some quiet, down time. Before I go to sleep I put Booty Shaker potty one last time, or else he pees his bed. I have to crack up because there are some nights he'll stand there and scratch his belly before he pees. It just reminds me of a typical male thing for some reason. Last night he was completely out of it. I carried him into the bathroom and he just stood there (I wonder if he was sleeping still, it was dark). So I pulled down his pants and tried to sit him on the potty but he wouldn't bend his legs! He kept trying to not sit (we make our boys sit to use the potty). I was trying so hard not to laugh and to just get him to sit and pee! He had no clue what was going on! I'm sure one day he'll really appreciate me telling you these stories, but its little things like this that I don't want to forget!!!

I should of made my boys sit and pee too, maybe I wouldn't have to clean up after them every time they went. They always miss the toilet some how. Jalynn saw the boys standing and peeing so a couple of times she tried to pee like a boy, but I had to tell her NO, NO your a litttle lady! That is so funny though that he was like sleeping. Yes he probably would be mad at you mom for sharing these stories.

Rubbing his belly lol. Boys do seem to have some "boysense" when it comes to the potty.
Daniel just would not sit to pee....he saw how his daddy did it and wanted to do it that way too. For us it just seemed pointless to fight because he did so well that way.
Of course now he talks about his "fire hose" when he goes.....ahhh..boys.

My son comes and stands beside the bed until I say "Go to the bathroom" It cracks me up because it is not like he asks to go any other time - he is 8 yrs old.
Good to know they realize even in their sleep they can come to Mom and she will fix it:)

LOL I taught C to pee sitting down becuase he was too short to reach and becuase I figured I didn't exactly know how to stand and pee, so I better teach what I know. He didn't learn to stand up until he went to a sitters and it grossed her out - LOL BS just sounds so sweet.

I have made all my boys go pee half asleep so many times! We still do with Jonah. It is pretty funny.

Crazy does that all the time! The whole scratching his belly and his head like "what the heck is going on" thing! lol And we make the boys pee sitting too, it's easier and less for me to clean! lol Until they get control of that thing they are sitters! lol
