is it spring?

Yesterday and today the temps were in the 50s. It is funny how now 50* is warm to me! A year ago it was cold! Zach came home early yesterday because of the nice temps. We went out to dinner and rented Fireproof & Lakeview Terrace. Both were great movies, especially Fireproof. I'd been wanting to see it for some time and I'm glad we finally did.

This morning my friend Jenn, our girls and I went thrift store shopping. We hit all sorts of kids consignment shops around the Des Moines area. I found some deals for my girls. I didn't buy anything for the boys because I can't think of anything they need right now. I was able to find a few dresses for Chatterbox and some dresses and other things for Sweet Pea. It was so nice to get out and do something like that!

Oh yeah, we finally ordered our new laptop!!! We're getting a Dell Studio 15. I can't wait to get it! I've been working on our taxes (and really need to finish them up) but can't get the numbers right. I've tried 3 different sites and gotten different numbers! What's up with that?

I've had steaks marinating since Wednesday or Thursday and we're enjoying them tonight. Too bad I'm not that hungry since I had a huge burrito for lunch! They sure are delicious though. We were going to grill them outside but I just used our little indoor grill.

The whole dog thing is going pretty well. When she's not watched as thoroughly she has more accidents, but most days we try to watch her pretty well. She's now sleeping better at night and not crying all night. Now if only she'd quit waking up so early in the morning- she wakes us all up early! I think she's adjusting well to us! I hope to get pictures on the computer soon to share with you...what a lack of picture posts I've had.
