our new best friend...

Gas drops. Wow! It is amazing how those things work! How come I never got them for my other children when they were babies??? I gave her a drop around noon when we were at a friend's house for lunch. We got home after 3 and all let loose in her diaper! I'm sure my little Sweet Pea is so relieved! And so is mama...I was feeling quite bad for her. She managed to poop again this evening too. My question is, how often do you give them? I also bought a humidifier today so hopefully it will help with her breathing at night.

We gave to them to Jacob as needed. She may have just been backed up and not need them again, or she could be like Jacob and basically need them 5 times a day. Just watch for the signs that she is uncomfortable.

Yay that they worked!!!

Give them to her as much as her little tummy needs them. We went through so many bottles of that stuff it wasnt funny! It wont hurt her. Something else you can look into as well are Hylands Colic tablets. They are for colic, but they reeeeally help soothe the tummy as well. We were the colic club here for 6 mos.

Another thing that helped us, besides bicycling his legs for 10 mins at a time, was to heat up a dishtowel in the dryer until it was warm enough to heat but not burn him, and fold it by thirds lengthwise, then wrap it around his belly under a onesie, then lay him on his tummy.

Im glad she feels better!

I loved these drops too!
So glad they helped.
We used them all the time - I should go ahead and stock up on them again:)

I'm so glad those worked for you. I think the box might say to take them before she eats to get a jump on those gas bubbles. But read first It's been a long time since I bought those. That's really good advice the upper poster gave you. It's so nice to know lots of people and hear all kinds of advice that you might of not ever received otherwise.

When Akayna was a baby she often had an upset stomach and the pediatrician said to give the drops as needed and that it wouldn't hurt her at all. I ALWAYS made sure they were in the diaper bag when I was babysitting, lol!

Those drops were a lifesaver with Jay. I used to buy the "Equate" version from Walmart, and we'd go through bottles really quickly. The Dr.s told me at one point that I should give him one full dropper full before I nursed him each time..........that seemed to REALLY help.

Be blessed, Jamie,
